Sick Baby!

I love being a mom, but I will admit that there are some downsides. Take today, for instance, Paige and I lay in bed sick all day long; we each have a fever, cough and a runny nose. We finally got up around 7:15 pm for a bath and then it was right back to bed. I was sick of lying around so after Paige went to sleep for the 3rd time tonight, I gathered up enough energy to sit here and type this entry. Some of you have seen little P's sad face when she's not feeling good; I've included a picture from today after her bath for those of you who haven't. It's no fun to take care of a sick baby (Paige has had more than her fair share of being ill), but it's worse when you can barely take care of yourself. The only up side today was that we got in a lot of cuddling time.

Me and the kids were sick yesterday. I don't mind taking care of the kids when they are sick, but its 100,000 times harder when you are sick too! I hope you guys get feeling better soon!

I feel your pain. I haven't had too many times of me being sick the same time as my kids, but I got my fair share having a newborn with RSV last week. That was so horrible to have such a sick little baby and not be able to do much about it. Luckily he's all better now. Ready for winter to be over, that's for sure.

Thanks, everyone. We are feeling a little better today. My sister Chelsea and her 17 month old son are visiting - they got sick too. We've traced it back to my Grandpa Miller. He was sick last weekend and this week he got Honey and Papa and my Aunt and Grandma sick while they were all skiing together in Snowmass. Fun trip. Jill's idea is that no one should travel during the winter. If everyone just stayed where they are from then nothing could spread to different cities. Chelsea heads back to Vegas tonight. Maybe she and Andrew will infect all of Amber's family?

Lori - yeah, I don't think anyone wants to see a picture of sick Bridget :)

Carly - That is awful! And I'm so glad he is better! That was my worst fear when Paige was born last winter.

Bridget, it's so good to see how your family is doing! I found your blog on Wendi's blog.

I'm so happy for you and Ben with your beautiful girl!

By the way, I didn't know Ben works at Camp Williams now (or that you live in Eagle Mountain). My cousin works in Camp Williams and also lives in Eagle Mountain. Zach Sibio.

I'm so sorry Ben's being deployed again!! Great idea to have a blog to help him. Hang in there! I know you'll have great support through all of us friends and family and the military support groups.

Hey, Abby! Good to hear from you! I think Sibio sounds familiar; I'll have to ask Ben. Glad you found me; how do I find you? Your blog is locked :) I hope you guys are doing well.
